At PTS, we use PCR and ELISA virus testing methods to detect CymMV and ORSV 100% of stock material will be tested once received, 3-4 months after and before shipment.

PTS not only performs in-house virus testing, but we can also certify and issue virus testing certificates to anyone once the test has been completed by us.

Every meristem tip or callus-derived plant we receive will be tested for specific viruses. Only virus-free material will be used as a mother plant to produce the stock. Plants are first treated in our grafting room and then given a QR-code. Via the QR-code and management system, will allow us to follow the development of the young plants through the various phases in the laboratory.
